Prepare Panorama access
Use a dedicated Panorama account with XML API access to the intended device groups, templates and devices. Prepare its management address and workspace token.
Choose what to collect
| Goal | Collect |

| Review manager hierarchy | Panorama's own configuration and available management data. |
| Review a particular firewall | The managed device collection using its serial and available device state. |
| Understand inherited and local settings | Manager context plus direct-device reads where the workflow offers them. |
Run the collector
Choose Firewall or Panorama, enter its address and credentials, then select the intended managed devices. Use a multi-use token for multiple uploads.
Interpret the snapshot correctly
Analysis normally starts after preparation. Complete mapping or context selection only when requested by the result.
