Plain terms for a product that analyzes a file you upload.

1. 01What the service does

   ConfigProof parses a firewall configuration export that you upload, runs deterministic controls over the modules you select, and produces findings, reports, plans and diagrams. It does not connect to your devices and it does not change any configuration.

2. 02What it is not

   It is not a compliance certification, a penetration test, or a substitute for your own engineering judgement. Every report states the limits of the analysis, and you remain responsible for any change you make.

3. 03Your account

   You are responsible for the credentials on your account and for the accuracy of the files you upload. Free Preview, Single Assessment, Engineer and Consultant are single-user accounts, and sharing one set of credentials between people is a breach of these terms.

4. 04Your content

   You keep every right in the configurations you upload and the deliverables you produce. You grant us only the narrow license needed to run the analysis you asked for and to store the results for your retention period.

5. 05Acceptable use

   Do not upload a configuration you are not authorized to analyze, attempt to reach another tenant's data, or resell automated access to the service. Fair-use limits and technical protections apply to repeated identical uploads and automated abuse.

6. 06Billing

   Usage is measured in Assessment Cycles. Subscriptions renew until cancelled and cancel at the end of the current period. One-time purchases are not subscriptions and do not renew.

7. 07Availability and liability

   The service is provided as is. We work to keep it available and correct, and our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

8. 08Changes

   We will tell you before a material change to these terms takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms.
