Reads the export, not the device

Why it matters
When a license ends, the features it unlocks stop updating or stop working, often without any change to the configuration.
How to fix it

- Renew the license through Smart Licensing on the Firepower Management Center, cdFMC or device manager before its end date.
- Read the device's licenses again to confirm the new end date.

How to confirm the fix
- Read the licenses again (FMC: System > Licenses > Smart Licenses; device manager: Device > Smart License) and confirm the license is assigned and authorized.
Limits
- The license reading shows what the device holds on the day it was read. It does not show whether the feature works today.
- A license the reading lists without an end date is not judged by this check.
